Job Title: Product Support Manager
Location: Requires residence in Kansas City, MO area.
Salary: Base Salary targeted at $75,000 to $95,000
CLIENT: An 80 year old world leading Manufacturer of Animal Management Systems involving a large assortment of items: Permanent and Portable Animal Control Systems, Fencing, Weighing and Watering Systems for Equine, Cattle, Swine, Sheep, Goats and Wildlife. Their Products are sold thru Retailers throughout the U.S. and Canada generating over $25 Million Sales Annually and can be found in Leading Farm and Home Chains.

LOCATION: Requires residence in Kansas City, MO area.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting to the President, this Senior Member of the Team Leaders will oversee the Quality, Packaging, Training, Support and Communications associated with all Products including the Identification and Fulfillment of Product Gaps and New Product needs. Directly supervising the Customer Service and Repair Departments, this Key Position will direct: New Product Releases, Upgrades and Packaging Changes: Communicate and Resolve Product Performance Issues: Coordinate and Drive Strategic Direction: Identify New Product Opportunities for Improvement and Competitive Shortfalls: Train Staff, Dealers and Consumers on: Usage, Application, Features, Benefits as well as Changes, Technical Advice and Solutions. Additional duties will involve: Market Testing, Competitive Intelligence Gathering on Features, Benefits and Operations, Budgeting and Administrative Functions. This position will require travel estimated at 25% to 50% to Client Visits with Sales Team as the Product Expert and to Industry Trade Shows.

PERSONALITY: Candidate must be an astute organizer with exceptional leadership and time management skills; goal driven and managed by objectives: capable of delivering performance on short notice with time sensitive information to ensure inquires are answered promptly and accurately. A leader by example with confident, strong presentation and customer service skills.

EXPERIENCE: A strong Product Management background in CPG with Home/Farm/Agriculture items (or similar) with Field Sales and Marketing experience involving the developmental process in Retail, Dealer and End-User networks. Must possess hands-on experience in: Determining Customer Requirements, Translation and Development into Complete Products: Strategies on Pricing, Promotion, Branding, Life Cycle and Segmentation. Knowledge should include Distribution methods working closely with Sales to develop effective relationships in all Departments. Additional areas of expertise should include: Product Brochures, Catalog, Advertising, Public Relations, Events and Trade Shows. This is a technical go-to person for all Product and Application questions and ideal Candidate will project a confident and professional Corporate image. College Degree preferred with high proficiency in computer programs like: Excel, Word and Power Point.

COMPENSATION: Base Salary targeted at $75,000 to $95,000 range (commensurate with experience) plus Bonus.
