| CLIENT: As a new, start-up Division of a Company that was established over 60 years ago, our Client is a privately-held and still rapidly growing Manufacturer of Outdoor Products such as Planters, Flags, Bird Feeders, Bird Houses, Bird Baths, Suet Cakes, Squirrel Feeders and Seed Scoops. Products are sold to Retailers and Distributors within the Home and Lawn & Garden Markets Globally.
LOCATION: Northeastern U.S.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include developing strong Customer Relationships while maintaining and building On-Line Sales and overseeing the Warehouse Distribution and Operations of a Retail Store. Duties include: Prospecting and Identifying New Business Opportunities, Monitoring Competitive Pricing, Establishing Pricing Strategies and Supervising the day-to-day Operations, Administration and Sales Staff. Must have P&L experience with the ability to counsel Senior Management on the development and results of New Sales Initiatives, Daily Operations and New Business Expansion. Defines and Delegates job functions / responsibilities of Sales by focusing on Customer Requirements and Operational Performance. Creates a motivated workforce and a solid Business plan.
PERSONALITY: An aggressive self-starter with the ability to accurately define the Market and focus efforts with confidence and limited supervision. Must be a motivated Team-Player and Leader with broad interpersonal skills and the ability to Mentor Staff while making influential decisions within an established and growing Company. Ideal Candidate will be competitive driven and exhibit a "Manage-up" mentality.
EXPERIENCE: The qualified Candidate will have a minimum of (5) five years of P&L experience in Facility Management as well as a history of success in Sales & Marketing and E-Commerce in Pet Supply, Lawn & Garden or Companion / Small Birds and Animals Industries. Must be Dependable, Driven, Customer Service oriented catering to Upscale Hobbyists. Proven record of Managing cross-functional Teams and delivering results on schedule and within Budget is essential. College Degree preferred
COMPENSATION: While no Candidate with the specific required qualifications will be eliminated for compensation reasons, our Client has targeted this Position in the $75,000-$100,000 range. Benefits include: Health, Medical, and Life Insurance, 401K, Paid Holidays and Vacation.
