| CLIENT: An 80 year old world leading Manufacturer of Animal Management Systems involving a large assortment of items: Permanent and Portable Animal Control Systems, Fencing, Weighing and Watering Systems for Equine, Cattle, Swine, Sheep, Goats and other types of Wildlife. Their Products are sold thru Retailers across America generating over $25 Million Sales Annually and can be found in Leading Farm and Home Chains in the U.S. like Mills, Blaine’s, Orschelns, Bomgaars, Theisen’s, Big R and Shoppers and Cooperatives like Agway, Mid-States and Southern States and in Canada, Chains like Peavey, TruServ, TSC and Cooperatives like Federated, Atlantic and United Farmers of Alberta.
LOCATION: Requires residence In Kansas City Area.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting directly to the President, the primary responsibility of this position will be to Coach, Mentor and Manage (6) six to (8) eight Territory Managers within Canada, assuring they meet or exceed Company Standards and Goals while personally Managing Key Accounts in Canada for maximum Sales growth. Role will include working with Regional and Marketing Managers in overseeing Product Campaigns, Sales Programs and Advertising & Marketing Plans for each Territory. Key Account Management will include the Solicitation, Recruitment, Growth and Management of New and Existing Accounts; maintaining relationship and communication with Corporate Offices and individual Store Locations to increase Brand exposure and recognition; ensuring Product Campaigns, Sales Programs, P-O-P & Store Displays and Marketing Information are fully implemented and delivered on time; establish Annual Budgets for each Account and Annual Expenditures for the entire Region, guaranteeing Costs and Operational Expenses are within Budget. Position will work from Corporate Headquarters and will Travel up to 75% throughout Canada.
PERSONALITY: Candidate must be extremely Well Organized with strong Time Management and Written/Verbal Communication Skills. Seeking a ‘Road Warrior’ who is driven to success by Company Goals and Objectives; individual with a Positive, Practical, ‘Can Do’ Attitude. Must be a Leader, Coach, Mentor, Teacher and Team Player to be successful. A Hunter not a Gatherer.
EXPERIENCE: Successful Candidate will hold a minimum of 10 years Sales & Marketing experience with (5) five years of Field Sales growth calling on Independent Farm Store Chains throughout Canada involving like or similar Products in the Farm, Animal or Agriculture Industries . Strong computer skills with above average proficiencies in Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Bilingual (French/English) a definite plus! College Degreed preferred.
COMPENSATION: Compensation Targeted Base Range of $75,000 to $90,000 with unlimited Bonus potential estimated at $75,000 to $100,000 for the Confident Professional.
