| CLIENT: Established in the early 70’s, our Client is a Privately held Industry Leading Manufacturer and Sourcing Agent of High Quality, Distinctively Styled, Home Décor and Garden Accessories. Using state-of-the-art machinery and processes they are now able to create Art and Fashion with higher efficiency (while still maintaining quality) into Mass Production; the ability to ship large quantities on a timely basis, Servicing a broad range of Clientele. Selling to Mass Merchants on National and International levels, the Company has gained acceptance in Major Retail Leaders like Wal-Mart and Home Depot, with further aggressive plans to penetrate New Accounts throughout the Home Center and Mass Market Channels where distinctive and artistic Products can be found.
LOCATION: Open due to the nature of the Position our Client is receptive to any major city or hub.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting directly to the President, position will require communicating with Clients to discuss Business needs, successfully interpreting their needs through utilization of creative skills and commercial awareness and producing and presenting visual solutions in 2D and 3D to Clients. Individual will be expected to conceptualize unique Designs and execute Projects while working efficiently and staying within Budget and Time constraints. Candidate must shape, communicate, document, analyze, and share ideas to Increase Productivity, often working on more than one Design Brief at a time which may include tight deadlines. In addition, the Graphic Designer will also be responsible for Product Design and Development of Company Product. Designer should be pro-active in presenting their ideas and Designs, thinking creatively to produce new, fresh and trendy Products.
PERSONALITY: The ideal Candidate will be a "Self-Starter”, have an imaginative flair, show great attention to detail and be creative. Designer must project excellent written & verbal communication skills, effective management & multi-tasking skills and possess the ability to work well in a Team but also independently if necessary.
EXPERIENCE: College Degreed in a relevant field with at least (5) five years of Graphic & Product Design experience within the Home Décor Industry. Individual must have working knowledge of the Newest Technologies and Software with experience creating 2D and 3D Products, developing high level Presentation Materials and working closely with Designers to create solutions. Portfolio for our Client to view is required.
