| CLIENT: Our Client is a $20 Million Full Line Wholesale Distributor stocking 20,000 Items of Electrical Components, Lighting, Fasteners, Brass, Specialty Cable, Hydraulic and Safety Equipment and assorted Maintenance Products sold across the Automotive Aftermarket / Specialty, Hardware and Industrial Industries. Operating (5) five Branches / Distribution Centers employing 150 people in 20 States servicing a Customer Base consisting of Businesses operating a Fleet of Vehicles to the single bay Repair Facility throughout the Nation. Established more than 40 years ago, our Client has developed a reputation in a Business that thrives on personal relationships for steadfast dedication to Service and Customer Satisfaction, which has in large part led to the Growth and overall Success of the Company.
LOCATION: Home Office servicing the St. Louis area.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting to the District Manager, responsibilities of this Position will consist of Generating New Business, while continuing ongoing Service to the Existing Customer Base. Other Duties include the Development of a (2) two year Sales Plan for outlined Territory, attendance of Trade Shows, regular communication between Customers and Home Office as well as maintaining a constant Personal Vigil of his/her Accounts to better Serve the Customer Base in a quick and satisfactory manner. Travel consists of assigned Territory, rarely involving overnight.
PERSONALITY: A self-assured, highly-motivated, aggressive, and confident Sales Professional possessing a high energy level and a driven desire to succeed while projecting a positive attitude with a professional image. Individual will be results-driven, assertive, creative Salesperson with excellent communication skills. A self-starter with a proven history of Sales growth in an environment without direct supervision.
EXPERIENCE: Ideal Candidate will have at least 3-5 years direct hands-on experience in Sales with a working knowledge of Automotive and Electrical Components or similar Products sold in the above mentioned channels of Trade. Our Client is seeking an individual more for their “personal Sales ability” than Product exposure, but will look at those with a proven history of both Building New Accounts and servicing current Clientele in an assigned Region. College Degree a plus but not required.
COMPENSATION: Highly Attractive Bonus/Commission Program is in place for the Sales Professional consistent with an estimated Annual Income in the high 5 figure range plus full Benefits: Blue Cross Health, Dental, Vision Insurance, (no waiting period), Company Paid Life Insurance, LTD, 401K and generous Car Allowance.
