A privately held and rapidly growing $20 million Manufacturer and Distributor of Packaged Lawn & Garden and Hardware/Home Center related Products sold through Major Retailers including Lawn & Garden, Mass Merchant (Wal-Mart, Osco Drug), Home Center (Home Depot), and Hardware Channels of Trade (TruValue, Ace Hardware).

LOCATION:

Corporate Headquarters in the New England Area.

RESPONSIBILTY:

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and retaining personal Major Account Sales, this individual will possess a successful history of Managing their respective Region to maintain current Sales and Increase Account Base and Company profits. Experienced Executive will know the Major Players and be expected to hold current and upstanding relationships with their Buyers. Heavy Travel estimated during late Spring to early Fall.

PERSONALITY:

Team player with strong Communication and Management skills. Must be self-motivated and highly organized; a “Type A” personality without an overbearing ego. The ideal Candidate will present a solid image, both personally and professionally, and have the ability to “hit the ground running” through solid Industry contacts. Assertive, creative, ambitious and performance focused.

EXPERIENCE:

Successful Candidate will have a strong Sales background possessing experience in the Lawn & Garden and/or Hardware Industry with an emphasis on Selling to Top Retailers. Must be a Seasoned Professional with a proven track record of success Selling to Major Accounts and prospecting for New Business. College Degree is preferred but not mandatory. Our Client is seeking an Executive with hands-on experience and the ability to multi-task.

COMPENSATION:
