Consistently ranked #1 as the fastest growing Company in this Major City and recognized for the last (5) five years in literature that tracks “fast growing Companies” Nationwide. Products consist of Grooming Items, Hand Tools, Treats and Supplements for both Large and Small Animals and can be found throughout the Industry in Major Retailers, Specialty Pet Stores, Farm Supply as well as Distributors, Veterinarians and Groomers Nationally and Internationally. LOCATION: Midwestern

RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting directly to the President this position will be a Key Member of the Management Team and will assume responsibility for Managing and Developing the Sales Teams, increasing Sales with existing Accounts, Developing New Channels of Distribution, Developing Annual Sales Plans and Metrics to increase Sales and Profitability, Management and Development of (3) three Sales Staff, New/Existing Accounts, Distributors and Representative Firms. Approximately 40-50% Travel. PERSONALITY: Successful individual will enjoy being a Team Player and mentoring other Managers/Employees in a relatively young and very fast growing Company. Successful Candidate will have a strong desire and commitment to succeed and be a “goal-setter”. This person should be a creative and flexible thinker, and an individual who can Manage, Motivate, and develop a strong Sales Team. Must pay attention to detail and follow through, a strong Leader, passion for the Business with a pulse on the Industry regarding trends, changes and ideas. EXPERIENCE: The ideal Candidate will have a minimum of (5) five years experience in Managing a Sales Team, with Pet Retail Industry, International and Mass Industry experience. College Degreed preferred, an MBA in Marketing a plus. Communications or other related field is required. Must have managed the efforts of Regular Tracking, Reporting and Measuring the success of Sales Programs, Promotion results, Project Budgets and Expenses, and all the other important Metrics. Excellent Oral, Written, and Presentation Skills required.
