Job Title: Vice President of Sales

CLIENT: A Privately held Manufacturer of Handcrafted Organic Dog Biscuits, providing Customers with Healthy, Nutritious and Favorable Pet Treats and Snacks. Products are available in multiple flavors and sold in Pet Boutiques, Pet Shops, Pet Spas and Gourmet Groceries and can be found in over 300 Stores across the United States. Our Clients Products are made from real Meats, Cheeses and Fruits with no sugars or preservatives added, and this is what draws Customers to their Products and Keeps them coming back. LOCATION: In Home or Satellite Office (No relocation necessary)

RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting directly to the President, this Key Position will be responsible for identifying and penetrating New Accounts while growing and maintaining existing Accounts and must be willing to “pound the pavement”. Additional responsibilities include Supervising, Managing, Mentoring, and attending Trade Shows. This position requires minimal travel.

PERSONALITY: The ideal Candidate will have a strong desire and commitment to increase Sales and be a “goal setter”, a creative and flexible Team Player, an individual who can Manage, Motivate, and Develop a strong Sales Team, possessing an aggressive but tactful personality, willing to be a “hands-on” member of the Senior Level Staff. Must pay attention to detail and follow-through, a “Self-Starter”. Must be highly organized and possess excellent Leadership Management Skills. Our Client is seeking a “lead by example” Manager who can work cooperatively with a wide variety of personalities. A creative visionary with the ability, drive, and foresight who can help take the Company to the “next level”. EXPERIENCE: Must be familiar with Organic Products. Candidate will be an accomplished, top-performing Sales Executive with a strong background in the Pet Industry. Individual must have previous knowledge and contacts with Toys R Us, PetSmart, Petco, Drug, Gift and Whole Foods. College Degree preferred but is not as important as knowledge and recognition of the Pet Industry.

COMPENSATION: Our Client knows the value of Industry contacts and has assembled a Competitive Compensation Plan (commensurate with experience and knowledge) plus Bonus based on performance. Benefits negotiable Paid Holidays, and Vacation available.
