Job Title: Territory Sales Manager

CLIENT: A privately held Building Material Distributor generating Annual Sales in excess of $200 Million, with a history of successful Sales and Market Dominance. Distributing Building Materials from leading Manufacturers such as CertainTeed, Owens Corning, Schlage, Simpson, Timbertech, supported by Custom Line of Interior and Exterior Doors. Operating from Multiple Locations, our Client is known for their Quality Service, On-Time Delivery, and a Customer Service Oriented, Knowledgeable Staff.

LOCATION: Immediate opening in the Kansas City area.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting to the Regional Manager, this Territory Sales Manager will travel in an assigned Area surrounding the Distribution Market, Selling Wholesale to Retail Building Material Centers that supply Professional Contractors and Do-It-Yourself Customers. Products sold include items needed in Residential Home Construction with a special emphasis on Value Added Pre-finished Millworks, Pre-painted Siding and Custom Doors. Occasional overnight travel expected.

PERSONALITY: An aggressive, energetic, highly-organized and goal-oriented Sales Professional who knows how to build and maintain Sales Volume by establishing relationships and providing excellent Customer Service. This self-starter must be flexible to meet the Customers’ needs as well as possess excellent communication skills and understand the importance of identifying Customers’ needs on a timely basis.

EXPERIENCE: Must be knowledgeable of the Building Materials Industry and capable of speaking “Cabinet / Millwork / Building Materials Language” with a verified track record of progression and success Selling $1 to $10 Million in the Retail or Wholesale Building Material Arena (Installer Market).

COMPENSATION: Base Salary is targeted in the mid to high (5) five figure (Commensurate with Experience) with a Commission Program and annual bonus for successful Sale Increases.
